Description
The Team Associated ASC31937 6x6 steering blocks carry the front wheel hubs and axles, pivoting on the kingpins to steer the truck. They hold the wheel bearings in the correct alignment and set the caster and steering geometry that determine how the front end bites and returns to center.
These steering blocks are direct replacements for the RC10 American Custom Semitruck, using the stock hinge pins, bearings, and hardware for a straightforward swap. Steering blocks take the brunt of curb strikes and head-on impacts, and a cracked or elongated block introduces play that no amount of trim adjustment will fix.
Fitting new blocks restores accurate toe and camber, tightens up steering response, and keeps the bearings supported so they last. Because a broken steering block ends a run immediately, most drivers carry a spare set.
