Description
This is the unpainted clear Datsun 620 body set for the Team Associated Apex2 Sport. It ships as a molded shell so you can trim, mask, and finish it in a scheme of your own instead of running the factory livery.
The set fits the Apex2 Sport A550, the Apex2 Sport, the Apex2 Sport ST550, the Apex2 Sport Nissan Z, and the Apex2 Sport Datsun 620. It is the same shell Team Associated supplies for those platforms, so the body post holes and wheel arch cutouts match the chassis as it comes and nothing needs reworking.
Once finished, the shell protects the receiver, servo, speed control, and drivetrain from dirt and debris while shaping the airflow over the car. Bodies are a consumable in racing, so keeping a clear one partly prepared in the pits means a torn shell on race day does not end the run. Buying clear also lets you paint the car to match the rest of your gear rather than running the factory scheme.
