Description
This is the unpainted clear ST550 body for the Team Associated Apex2 Sport. It ships as a molded shell so you can trim, mask, and paint it in whatever scheme you want, rather than running the finished factory livery.
The body is made for the Apex2 Sport ST550. It is the same shell Team Associated supplies for that model, so the body post holes and wheel arch cutouts line up with the chassis as it comes, with no reworking needed to mount it.
Once finished, the shell protects the receiver, servo, speed control, and drivetrain from dirt and debris while shaping the airflow over the car. Bodies are consumable in racing, so many drivers keep a clear shell partly prepared in the pits and finish it when the one on the car finally tears. Buying clear also means you can match the body to the rest of your gear, and it is the shell to start with if you want a livery nobody else on the grid is running.
