Description
This is the wheel and tire set for the A550 version of the Team Associated Apex2 Sport. It provides the rubber and wheels that the car runs on, supplied together as a matched set so the sizes and offsets are correct for the chassis out of the package.
The set fits the Apex2, the Apex2 Sport A550, and the Apex2 Hoonigan. Because these are the same wheels and tires Team Associated fits to the A550, they mount to the stock axles and hexes with no spacers or adapters needed.
Tires are a wear item and the single biggest influence on how a touring car puts power down and holds a line through a corner. Once the tread is worn or the compound has hardened with age, grip and consistency fall away noticeably. Replacing all four at once keeps the car balanced front to rear, which is why they are sold as a set.
