Description
This is the unpainted clear A550 body for the Team Associated Apex2 Sport touring car. It ships as a molded shell so you can trim, mask, and finish it yourself, which lets you run your own scheme rather than the factory livery. For assembly instructions, see the online manual, pages 15 through 17.
The body fits the Apex2, the Apex2 Sport A550, and the Apex2 Hoonigan. Because it is the same shell Team Associated supplies for those platforms, the body post holes and wheel arch cutouts match the chassis as delivered, with no reworking needed.
Beyond appearance, the shell protects the receiver, servo, speed control, and drivetrain from track debris and shapes the airflow over the car. Keeping a spare on hand means a cracked or torn body from race contact does not end your day, and building one up yourself is the usual way Apex2 Sport drivers keep a fresh shell ready.
