Description
This is the pre-painted and trimmed A550 body for the Team Associated Apex2 Sport touring car. It comes finished from the factory, so there is no masking, spraying, or cutting required before it goes on the car, and window masks and detail work are already handled for you.
The shell fits the Apex2, the Apex2 Sport A550, and the Apex2 Hoonigan. It is the direct replacement Team Associated supplies for those platforms, so mounting holes and the wheel arch profile line up with the existing body posts without modification.
A touring car body does more than set the look of the car: it shields the receiver, servo, speed control, and drivetrain from dirt and debris, and its shape is a real part of how the chassis behaves at speed. Replacing a shell that has been cracked or scuffed in racing contact restores both. Assembly and mounting instructions are covered in the online Apex2 Sport manual.
