Description
The Team Associated ASC31906 is the unpainted Datsun 240Z body for the Apex2 Sport and Apex2 Sport Nissan Z. It is supplied ready to be trimmed and finished, allowing the builder to apply a personal scheme rather than run the standard factory appearance of the car.
Assembly instructions for the body are covered in the online manual on pages 15 to 17, which walk through how the shell is prepared and mounted. Beyond its appearance the body directs airflow over the chassis at speed and shields the electronics, battery, and drivetrain from grit picked up off the running surface.
The shell is a direct replacement for the body fitted to the 240Z version of the Apex2 Sport, using the standard body mount positions with no modification required. Since the body absorbs the impact in every crash, a spare is worth keeping for anyone running the car regularly. Fits the Apex2 Sport and Apex2 Sport Nissan Z.
