Description
The Team Associated ASC31903 shock towers are the upper mounting structures for the dampers on the Apex2 Sport platform, fitting the Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, and Apex2 Sport Nissan Z. The towers bolt to the bulkheads at each end of the car and carry the top of each shock.
Their mounting holes set the shock angle and the leverage the suspension works against, which is why the towers are one of the main tuning points on an on-road chassis. They also take the full load of every impact transmitted through the suspension, making them a part that bends or cracks in a heavy crash while the rest of the car survives.
These are direct replacements for the towers supplied with the Apex2 Sport, installing in the factory positions with the original hardware shown in the kit manual and needing no modification. Fits the Apex2 Sport, Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, and Apex2 Sport Nissan Z.
