Description
The Team Associated ASC31902 damper shock set supplies the shock absorbers for the Apex2 Sport platform, fitting the Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, and Apex2 Sport Nissan Z. The shocks control how the suspension moves, damping the springs so the tires stay in contact with the surface over bumps and through weight transfer.
On an on-road car the dampers determine how quickly the chassis rolls into a corner and how settled it feels under braking and acceleration. Worn, leaking, or bent shocks let the car pitch unpredictably and are a common cause of handling that gets worse over a run rather than staying consistent.
This set is a direct replacement for the dampers supplied with the Apex2 Sport, mounting to the original shock tower and suspension arm locations using the standard hardware shown in the kit manual, with no modification needed. Fits the Apex2 Sport, Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, and Apex2 Sport Nissan Z.
