Description
The Team Associated ASC31901 chassis is the main structural plate for the Apex2 Sport on-road platform, covering the Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, and Apex2 Sport Nissan Z. Every other assembly on the car mounts to it, including the suspension, drivetrain, steering, battery, and electronics.
Because the chassis sets the reference for all of that hardware, a plate that has been bent or cracked in an impact throws off ride height and suspension geometry across the whole car, producing handling that cannot be corrected by adjustment alone. Replacing it is the only reliable fix once damage has occurred.
This is a direct replacement for the original Apex2 Sport chassis, using the factory mounting holes and the hardware detailed in the kit manual, so the car can be rebuilt to its original specification without modification. The chassis takes the worst of any hard hit, which makes it a worthwhile spare. Fits the Apex2 Sport, Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, and Apex2 Sport Nissan Z.
