Description
The Team Associated ASC31900 set supplies the Hoonicorn drift wheels and tires for the Apex2, Apex2 Sport A550, and Apex2 Hoonigan. The tires arrive already mounted on the matching Hoonicorn wheels, so the set can be fitted to the car with no assembly work.
Drift tires are made from a hard compound that deliberately limits traction, allowing the car to break loose and hold a controlled slide under power rather than gripping and driving forward. They suit smooth surfaces such as painted concrete, sealed floors, and asphalt, and because they slide instead of biting they last considerably longer than grip tires.
This is a direct replacement for the drift wheels and tires fitted to the Hoonicorn version of the car, using the standard wheel hexes and original wheel nuts with no modification needed. Swapping between drift and rubber sets changes the whole character of the car in a few minutes. Fits the Apex2, Apex2 Sport A550, and Apex2 Hoonigan.
