Description
The Team Associated ASC31896 Hoonicorn body set is the unpainted version of the shell for the Apex2 and Apex2 Hoonigan. It is supplied ready to be trimmed and finished, which lets the builder apply a personal scheme rather than run the standard factory appearance.
Assembly instructions for the body set are covered in the online manual on pages 17 to 19, walking through how the shell and its parts go together and mount to the car. Beyond appearance the body guides airflow over the chassis at speed and protects the electronics, battery, and drivetrain from grit thrown up off the surface.
The set is a direct replacement for the shell fitted to the Hoonicorn version of the Apex2, using the standard body mount positions with no modification required. Bodies take the impact in every crash, so a spare shell is worth keeping for anyone who runs the car regularly. Fits the Apex2 and Apex2 Hoonigan.
