Description
The Team Associated ASC31893 set supplies the Hoonitruck wheels and tires used on the Apex2 and Apex2 Hoonigan. The tires are the rubber compound version, already mounted on the matching Hoonitruck wheels so the set can be fitted to the car straight out of the package.
Rubber tires generate mechanical grip on asphalt and other paved surfaces, which suits normal driving and higher traction running rather than the low grip sliding that drift tires are made for. Keeping both types in the pit box is the quickest way to change how the car behaves without touching the rest of the setup.
As a factory replacement for the wheels and tires fitted to the Hoonitruck version of the Apex2, this set installs on the standard wheel hexes using the original wheel nuts, with no modification needed. Tires are the fastest wearing part on any on-road vehicle, so a spare set keeps the car running once the originals are worn down. Fits the Apex2 and Apex2 Hoonigan.
