The Team Associated ASC31865 Shock Rebuild Kit contains the service parts needed to refresh the dampers on your Apex 2 touring car. Shock seals and internal wear items break down over time from heat, oil, and repeated shaft travel, and once they do the shocks begin to leak, lose damping consistency, and let the car pitch and roll unpredictably through corners.
This kit is a direct replacement for the factory components and installs into the stock shock bodies with no modification, so a rebuild is a straightforward bench job during routine maintenance. Fitment covers the Apex2, Apex2 Sport, Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, Apex2 Sport Nissan Z, and Apex2 Hoonigan.
A proper rebuild is the cheapest handling upgrade available. Sealed, fully bled shocks deliver repeatable damping at all four corners, which means your setup changes actually do what you expect instead of being masked by worn parts. Keep a kit on hand and service your shocks before problems reach the track.
