Description
The Team Associated ASC31862 Apex 2 Bumper Mounts secure the front bumper assembly to the chassis and form the first line of impact protection for the entire car. In a head-on hit the mounts take the load before it reaches the chassis plate, steering components, or front suspension, which is exactly why they are treated as a wear item on any car that sees regular track time.
These are direct replacements for the factory bumper mounts and install into the stock chassis locations using the original hardware, so no drilling or modification is needed. Fitment covers the Apex2, Apex2 Sport, Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, Apex2 Sport Nissan Z, and Apex2 Hoonigan.
Replacing cracked or flexing mounts returns the bumper to its intended position and keeps the front end square, protecting the more expensive parts behind it. Add a set to your spares box so a single hard crash does not end your race day early.
