Description
This receiver and battery box set holds the electronics in place on the Team Associated Apex2. The receiver box protects the receiver from dirt, debris, and moisture thrown up by the tires, while the battery box locates the pack on the chassis and keeps it from moving under braking, acceleration, and cornering loads.
These are the parts that keep your most expensive components safe. A cracked receiver box lets grit and water reach the receiver and can cause intermittent signal loss, while a broken battery box lets the pack shift mid corner, which changes weight distribution exactly when you do not want it to and puts strain on the battery leads and connectors.
Fitment covers the Apex2, Apex2 Sport, Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport Nissan Z, and Apex2 Hoonigan. These are direct replacements for the factory boxes and install using your existing screws and mounting points, so a damaged box becomes a quick bench repair rather than a reason to stop running the car.
