Description
This set includes the gearbox, gear cover, and upper arm mounts for the Team Associated Apex2 platform. The gearbox houses and aligns the drivetrain internals, the gear cover keeps dirt and debris out of the gear mesh, and the upper arm mounts locate the upper suspension links that set your camber link geometry.
These are the structural parts that take the load in a crash. A cracked gearbox lets the gears shift out of mesh and strip, a missing or damaged gear cover lets grit into the drivetrain and accelerates wear on every gear tooth, and a broken arm mount either changes your suspension geometry or drops the link entirely mid run.
Fitment covers the Apex2, Apex2 Sport, Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport ST550, Apex2 Sport Nissan Z, and Apex2 Hoonigan. These are direct replacements for the factory components, so they install with your existing hardware and require no modification. Keeping a set on the shelf turns a broken gearbox into a quick bench repair instead of a lost weekend.
