Description
The Team Associated ASC31809 TC7.2 CVA Kit is a complete driveshaft rebuild package for the TC7.2 touring car. CVA style shafts transmit motor power from the outdrives to the wheel hubs while the suspension cycles and the front wheels steer, keeping power delivery smooth through the full range of chassis movement.
Rebuilding both driveshafts at once with fresh components eliminates the accumulated slop that makes a drivetrain feel notchy and takes the edge off corner entry. Tight, correctly assembled CVAs help the car drive forward cleanly off the apex and reduce the shock loading passed back through the belts and differentials.
The kit contains two CVA bone assemblies, two CVA couplers, two CVA cross pins, two CVA stub axles, two cross pin retaining springs, and two M3 set screws, so everything needed for a pair of shafts is included. These are direct replacements for the CVA components originally fitted to the Team Associated TC7.2 and require no modification to install.
