Description
This is an outer servo mount machined from aluminum for the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car platform, also fitting the related RC10B74, RC10B74.1, RC10B74.1D, RC10B74.2, and RC10B74.2D chassis that share the same steering assembly layout. The outer servo mount, together with the inner mount, clamps the steering servo to the chassis and supports the servo saver and steering linkage, so its rigidity directly affects steering precision and response. Machined aluminum construction resists the flexing that a composite mount can develop under hard steering loads and impacts, helping keep the servo securely aligned and reducing slop in the steering system over time. A loose or flexing servo mount can translate into vague, inconsistent steering feel on track, so upgrading to this aluminum mount improves steering feedback and durability compared to a worn factory mount. This part functions as a direct-fit replacement or upgrade for the factory servo mount, installing with the existing servo screws, inner mount, and chassis hardware with no other modification required.
