Description
The Team Associated ASC31804 TC7.2 Steering Bellcranks are the machined aluminum arms that convert servo motion into steering input on the TC7.2 touring car. They pivot on the bellcrank posts, carry the steering rack between them, and drive the tie rods out to the front hubs on both sides of the chassis.
Aluminum bellcranks resist the flex that creeps into a steering system as loads build in fast corners, keeping the geometry you set on the bench intact on track. Combined with the bellcrank bearings, they give the steering a light, free action with a firm center feel, so small corrections translate directly into changes of direction.
The steering assembly absorbs a great deal of impact energy in a front end crash, and bent bellcranks are a common casualty. These are direct replacements for the bellcranks originally supplied with the Team Associated TC7.2 and reuse the stock bearings, posts, rack, and hardware, so rebuilding the front end is straightforward.
