Description
The Team Associated ASC31800 TC7.2 Bulkheads are the machined aluminum housings that carry the differential and spool assemblies at each end of the TC7.2 chassis. They hold the drivetrain bearings in alignment and tie the arm mounts, shock towers, and chassis plate together into one rigid structure.
Bulkhead accuracy has a direct effect on how efficiently the car runs. Precisely machined aluminum keeps the diff and spool axles perfectly square to the chassis, which stops the belts from tracking sideways and prevents bearings from loading unevenly. That translates into a freer drivetrain, longer bearing life, and consistent handling as the chassis heats up.
Bulkheads take the brunt of side impacts and are among the first parts to crack or distort in a heavy crash, which is why many racers keep a spare set on the bench. These are direct replacements for the bulkheads originally fitted to the Team Associated TC7.2 and install with the factory hardware and drivetrain components.
