Description
The Team Associated ASC31798 TC7.2 Battery Lock Set is the hardware that clamps the battery pack down on the TC7.2 chassis. Built from aluminum and carbon fiber, the locks hold the pack tight against the chassis so it cannot shift under braking, on corner entry, or during a hard impact with a barrier.
A securely mounted battery is essential to consistent handling, because the pack is the heaviest single component in the car. Any movement changes weight distribution mid run and makes the chassis feel unpredictable. These locks also make pack changes between rounds quick and repeatable, so your setup returns to the same position every time.
The set includes two top battery locks and two bottom battery locks, giving you everything needed for both sides of the chassis. They are a direct replacement for the original battery locks on the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car and install with the factory screws in the existing chassis locations, requiring no modification.
