Description
The Team Associated ASC31797 TC7.2 Foam Bumper is the front impact foam for the TC7.2 touring car. It mounts ahead of the chassis and front end components, absorbing the energy of head on hits with track barriers, boards, and other cars before that energy reaches the steering assembly, arms, and chassis plate.
Touring cars carry a lot of speed into tight corners, and the front bumper is often the difference between a quick rejoin and a trip to the pit bench. Foam crushes progressively to spread out the impact, which protects the more expensive parts behind it and helps keep the car pointed straight after contact.
Bumper foam is consumable by design and should be replaced once it is torn, compressed, or soaked. This is a direct replacement for the foam bumper originally supplied with the Team Associated TC7.2 and fits the factory mounting position using the stock hardware, so fitting a fresh one takes only a few minutes.
