Description
The Team Associated ASC31796 TC7.2 CVA Bones are the aluminum driveshaft bones that connect the outdrives to the wheel hubs on the TC7.2 touring car. They are the link that carries motor power out to the tires while allowing the suspension to move through its full travel and the front wheels to steer.
CVA style driveshafts deliver power smoothly through steering and suspension movement, which helps the car drive predictably on corner entry rather than binding as the arms cycle. Aluminum construction keeps rotating weight low so the drivetrain accelerates freely, while the bone geometry maintains a consistent connection to the couplers at every angle.
Driveshaft bones are a normal wear and crash item, and slop here shows up as a notchy feeling drivetrain and inconsistent steering. These are a direct replacement for the CVA bones originally fitted to the Team Associated TC7.2 and assemble with the stock cross pins, couplers, and stub axles, with no modification required.
