Description
The Team Associated ASC31795 TC7.2 Battery Stops are the machined aluminum blocks that locate the battery pack on the TC7.2 chassis. They set the fore and aft position of the pack and hold it firmly against the chassis so the largest single mass in the car stays exactly where you placed it during setup.
Battery position is one of the most powerful setup tools on a touring car, shifting weight balance to trade steering for forward traction. Solid aluminum stops let you repeat that position exactly from run to run, and they keep the pack from shifting under braking or in a hard impact, which would otherwise change the car's balance mid race.
These stops are a direct replacement for the original parts on the Team Associated TC7.2 and mount with the factory screws in the existing chassis locations, so no modification is needed. They are also a worthwhile spare, as battery hardware takes repeated abuse every time a pack is changed.
