Description
The Team Associated ASC31790 TC7.2 Motor Mount is the machined aluminum bracket that secures the motor to the chassis and sets gear mesh on the TC7.2 touring car. Solid, repeatable motor location keeps the pinion aligned to the spur gear so the drivetrain runs quietly and efficiently instead of wearing gears prematurely.
Aluminum construction gives the mount the rigidity to hold the motor steady under hard acceleration and braking, while also drawing heat away from the motor can during long runs. A stable mounting platform means gear mesh set in the pits stays where you put it, lap after lap, rather than drifting as the chassis flexes.
This is a direct replacement for the motor mount originally supplied with the Team Associated TC7.2, and it also makes a smart spare for anyone who has bent or stripped a mount in a crash. It installs with the factory screws and motor hardware, with no chassis modification needed to fit it.
