Description
The gear diff outdrives transfer power from the differential to the driveshafts, so every bit of torque the motor makes passes through them. Worn outdrive pins or rounded drive cups introduce slop into the drivetrain and cause driveshaft wear, and in a hard hit they are one of the first drivetrain parts to give.
These outdrives are a direct replacement for the ones in the Team Associated TC7.2 gear differential. They fit the standard diff case and cap, accept the stock bearings and driveshafts, and use the original hardware, so a diff rebuild goes back together exactly as the kit was assembled.
Machined from aluminum, they offer solid durability at low rotating weight, which matters for parts spinning at diff speed. Replacing worn outdrives tightens up the drivetrain, reduces the clunking that develops as the car ages, and protects your driveshafts from the accelerated wear that loose outdrives cause. Keeping a spare set with your diff rebuild supplies makes a trackside service far quicker.
