Description
The gear differential case houses the diff gears and oil and takes the full drive load transmitted through the pulley to the outdrives. A case that has worn at the sealing surface or been damaged in a crash will weep oil and let the internal preload change, which shows up on track as inconsistent power delivery and unpredictable corner exit.
This set is a direct replacement for the Team Associated TC7.2 gear differential case and includes one gear diff case, one gear diff case O-ring, and one gear diff cap. It accepts the standard diff gears, outdrives, and pulley, so the rebuild goes together with your existing internals and no modification.
Aluminum construction is a durable upgrade over a worn case, holding the sealing surface flat and the gear mesh consistent as the diff heats up during a run. If you rely on diff oil weight as a tuning tool, a properly sealed case is what makes those changes repeatable from heat to heat.
