Description
Bearing caps hold the drivetrain bearings in the bulkheads, locating the pulley shafts and gear differentials precisely so the belts run true and the drivetrain turns freely. Any play or misalignment here creates drag, uneven belt wear, and a drivetrain that costs you runtime and punch off the corner.
These caps are a direct replacement for the bearing caps on the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car. They fit the standard front and rear bulkheads with the original screws and accept the stock bearings, so installation is a straight swap with no shimming or modification required.
Machined from aluminum, they are a durable upgrade over worn or damaged parts and hold bearing alignment more precisely as they age. Precise bearing location is one of the details that separates a free-rolling touring car from one that feels slightly tight, so if your drivetrain has developed play or drag, fresh bearing caps are a worthwhile part of a bulkhead rebuild.
