Description
The servo mount brace ties the steering servo mounting into the chassis structure, keeping the servo from twisting under the loads that steering inputs generate. Any flex in the servo mounting shows up at the wheels as delayed or imprecise steering response, so a solid brace directly affects how connected the car feels.
This brace is a direct replacement for the servo mount brace on the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car. It installs at the factory mounting locations with the original hardware and works with the standard servo mounts, so nothing about your electronics layout or steering geometry needs to change.
Carbon fiber construction provides the rigidity needed to resist servo torque while adding almost no weight to the chassis. It also contributes to the overall front-end stiffness of the platform, which affects how the car reacts to steering inputs on high-grip surfaces. Replacing a damaged brace restores crisp, immediate steering feel and keeps your servo properly located under hard cornering loads.
