Description
The rear shock tower holds the upper shock mounts and rear camber link positions, giving you the adjustment range you use to tune rear grip and corner exit stability. If the tower is cracked or flexing, those adjustments stop producing repeatable results no matter how carefully you build your shocks.
This is a direct replacement rear shock tower for the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car. It mounts to the standard rear bulkhead locations with the original hardware and duplicates the kit part's shock and link mounting holes, so your recorded setup carries over unchanged after the swap.
Made from carbon fiber, the tower combines very high stiffness with minimal weight high up on the car, which is exactly what a competition touring car needs. Rear towers take repeated hits from rear-end contact and hard landings, so a spare is cheap insurance on a race weekend. Installing a fresh tower restores precise rear suspension geometry and the predictable rear traction that makes the TC7.2 easy to drive at pace.
