Description
This steering bellcrank post set is the mounting hardware for the steering assembly on Team Associated TC7 and TC7.1 touring cars. The posts anchor the bellcranks to the chassis and provide the pivot axis they rotate on, so every steering input from the servo passes through them on the way to the front wheels.
Steering precision depends entirely on these pivots staying tight and true. Worn or bent posts introduce play into the bellcranks, which shows up as a vague on-center feel, inconsistent steering response side to side, and a car that will not hold a repeatable line through a corner. Front-end impacts are usually what does the damage.
Replacing worn posts restores the tight, slop-free steering the chassis was designed around. This set is a direct replacement for the factory hardware, installing in the original chassis locations with no modification required. It is also worth having on hand as a spare, since front impacts are common and the steering is right behind the bumper.
