Description
These are M3 x 5mm flat head cap screws (FHCS), short countersunk hardware used throughout Team Associated's off-road and touring car lineups for flush-mounted fasteners in thin composite or metal sections, such as gear cover plates, bearing retainers, and small brackets. The countersunk head sits flush with the surrounding surface to avoid catching on adjacent parts, while the short length suits thinner mounting sections without bottoming out. These screws are made from hardened steel for reliable thread strength and resistance to stripping under repeated maintenance and racing vibration. They fit the RC8B4 and RC8T4 off-road families through the current RC8B4.2 and RC8T4.2 generations, the RC10R5 and RC12R6 oval and on-road platforms, and the TC5, TC6, and TC7.2 touring car lineup. As a direct replacement for stripped, corroded, or missing factory screws, this hardware restores secure, flush-fitting assembly, and keeping spares on hand is useful since small fasteners are easy to lose during builds. Installation uses a standard hex driver into the existing threaded mounting points.
