Description
The Team Associated ASC31518 M2.5x4 mm flat head cap screws are genuine factory replacement hardware for the countersunk mounting points on your chassis. Flat head screws sit flush in a countersunk hole rather than standing proud, which matters where a part has to seat flat against another surface or where a screw head would otherwise foul a moving component.
At 4 mm this is one of the shortest screws on the car, used where thread engagement is shallow and a longer screw would punch through or bind. Substituting a generic fastener here is where people crack a part or strip a thread, so it is worth using the correct Associated part. Losing these to the pit table or the track surface is common because of how small they are, which is the main reason to keep a spare pack in the box.
