This flat head cap screw is a genuine Team Associated hardware component sized M2.5x8mm with a 2mm hex drive, used in tight-clearance mounting points such as suspension arm mounts and chassis braces across the Apex2 Sport A550 touring car, the RC10B6.3 and B6.4 buggies, the RC10B7 and B7.1 buggies, the RC10B74.1 and B74.1D buggies, the RC10B7D buggy, and the RC10B84, B84 Classic, B84D, and B84D Classic buggies. Machined from hardened steel, the countersunk flat head seats flush in tapped or dimpled mounting holes to avoid catching on adjacent suspension components, while the short 2mm hex socket keeps the drive strong enough for firm torque despite the screw's small overall size. As a direct replacement for a stripped or corroded factory screw, it restores secure, flush-mounted hardware at points where clearance and a clean fit matter for suspension geometry and arm movement. Because this exact size and length appear across several generations of the RC10 2WD buggy lineup as well as the Apex2 touring platform, keeping a supply on hand is useful for builders maintaining more than one Team Associated vehicle.
