Description
The Team Associated ASC31282 10mm Short Neck Ballstuds provide the ball pivots that suspension and steering links ride on. Each stud screws into a bulkhead, arm, shock tower or steering block, and the rod end snaps over the ball to create a joint that rotates freely through the full range of suspension travel. The 10mm length positions the ball further from its mounting face than a shorter stud, which changes link angle and roll behavior.
These studs fit a wide range of Team Associated on-road platforms, including the TC5, TC6.2, TC7, TC7.1 and TC7.2 touring cars along with the RC10F6 and RC12R6. They are a direct replacement for the ballstuds supplied in those kits, matching the original thread and ball diameter so no drilling, tapping or shimming is needed to install them.
Because rod ends cycle on these balls thousands of times per run, the surfaces wear and pick up damage from crashes. Replacing worn studs alongside your rod ends removes accumulated slop from the links and brings back accurate, repeatable geometry across the car.
