Description
The Team Associated ASC30142 TC8 Steel-Spec Team Kit is a 1:10 scale 4WD electric touring car that Associated describes as a complete reimagining of on-road performance rather than a simple evolution of what came before it.
The chassis uses a mid-motor configuration with a split top deck and centralized ultra-short shocks, combined with long-arm pivot ball suspension and adjustable KPI steering blocks for a wide setup window. DCV drive shafts handle the power, a high-volume rear differential improves consistency, a flexible TPU bumper absorbs impacts, and a floating fan and receiver mount isolates the electronics. The steel-spec version lowers the center of gravity, which is exactly what you want on high-grip surfaces.
This is a kit that you assemble, and it does not include electronics or running gear. You will need to add a motor, ESC, servo, transmitter and receiver, a 7.4V to 7.6V 2S LiPo battery, wheels and tires, and a touring car body to finish the build and get the car on track.
