The Datsun 620 truck from Team Associated is a highly detailed and fun-to-drive ready-to-run model, capturing a 1970s Japanese classic in 1/10 scale with four-wheel drive. It arrives fully assembled, built on the budget-friendly Apex2 Sport chassis that carries some of the latest features in racing.
Front and rear independent suspension with coil-over shocks and active rear toe give the Apex2 Sport the handling to deal with uneven tarmac, which keeps this truck composed on real-world surfaces rather than just smooth carpet. The scale detail is extensive, with a single-piece polycarbonate body, a detailed decal sheet, injection-molded fender mirrors, windshield wipers, a spoiler, and 1.9 turbine-style wheels.
Because it shares the Apex2 Sport platform, spares and hop-up parts are readily available and interchange across the range, so maintenance and upgrades are straightforward. This is a complete vehicle rather than a spare part, ready to run out of the box for scale driving and casual on-road use.
