Description
This ready-to-run rally car is Team Associated's tribute to the Group B machines of the golden era of rallying during the 1980s, rendered as a true-to-life scale model on the Apex2 Sport chassis. It is a complete vehicle rather than a spare part, arriving fully assembled and ready for loose surfaces, tarmac, and everything in between.
The chassis uses A-arm independent suspension at both ends with coil-over shock absorbers, giving the wheel travel and damping control needed to handle broken pavement, gravel, and jumps without upsetting the car. Power comes from a 550-size brushed motor paired with a programmable ESC, so throttle response and running characteristics can be adjusted to suit the driver and the conditions.
The car measures 458mm long and 190mm wide on a 259mm wheelbase, in 1/10 scale with four-wheel drive. Parts support across the Apex2 Sport platform is extensive, making maintenance and upgrades straightforward as you accumulate running hours.
