Description
The Team Associated ASC29030 set supplies the piston, sleeve, and connecting rod for the 15S nitro engine. These three parts form the core of the combustion and power transfer path: the sleeve provides the running bore, the piston seals against it to build compression, and the connecting rod links the piston to the crankshaft to turn combustion into rotation.
Piston and sleeve components are matched to work as a set and wear together over the life of an engine. As the pinch at top dead center relaxes with running hours, compression falls off, the engine becomes harder to start, loses top end power, and no longer holds a tune. Replacing the piston and sleeve together, along with the rod, restores original compression rather than masking the wear.
This set is a direct replacement for the factory components and fits the RC10GT and the 15S engine with rotary carburetor and side exhaust, part number 29029. Follow the engine manual for disassembly, connecting rod orientation, and the break-in procedure after fitting new components.
