Description
The Team Associated ASC29014 rotary carburetor set is a complete replacement carburetor assembly for the 15S nitro engine. A rotary carburetor uses a rotating barrel to open and close the throttle bore, metering the fuel and air mixture that reaches the crankcase. The set includes the carburetor body and the needle assemblies used to tune the mixture across the throttle range.
Carburetors take wear at the barrel bore and at the needle seats, and a worn assembly makes an engine difficult to tune, causing an inconsistent idle, hesitation off the bottom end, and a tune that will not hold from run to run. Fitting a new carburetor set restores clean metering and lets the needles do their job again.
This is a direct replacement for the factory carburetor on the 15S engine and mounts to the engine case with the standard clamp and hardware. It fits the RC10GT and the 15S engine with rotary carburetor and side exhaust, part number 29029. Consult the engine manual for baseline needle settings after installation.
