Description
This shock spring set provides replacement coil springs for the dampers on the Team Associated SR7 Hoonicorn 1:7 scale vehicle. The springs carry the weight of the car, set ride height, and work together with the shock oil and pistons to control how the chassis reacts to bumps, braking, acceleration, and cornering loads.
Spring rate is one of the primary handling adjustments on the car. Softer springs allow more suspension travel and generate more mechanical grip on rough or low-traction surfaces, while stiffer springs limit body movement and give a more responsive feel on smooth, high-grip tracks. Balancing front and rear rates is how you dial out excessive understeer or oversteer.
These springs are direct replacements for the original SR7 items and fit the stock shock bodies, collars, and spring cups without modification. Springs lose tension after extended use and impacts, so replacing a tired set restores consistent ride height and damping. Fits the SR7 platform. See the SR7 manual for setup guidance.
