Description
This is the main chassis plate for the Team Associated SR7 Hoonicorn 1:7 scale vehicle. The chassis is the foundation of the car, carrying the front and rear suspension assemblies, the transmission, the steering rack, the battery, and the electronics, and setting the reference geometry that every other assembly is mounted and aligned to.
Because the chassis sits at the lowest point of the vehicle, it absorbs repeated impacts from landings, kerbs, and debris. Over time it can become scratched, worn thin, or bent, and a chassis that is no longer flat will twist the suspension mounting points and cause the car to handle differently from one side to the other.
This is a direct replacement for the original SR7 chassis and accepts all of the stock mounts, braces, and hardware, so the existing assemblies transfer straight across during a rebuild. Fits the SR7 platform. Follow the SR7 manual when transferring components so ride height, droop, and alignment settings can be re-established correctly after the swap.
