Description
This set includes the foam front bumper and splitter used on the Team Associated SR7 Hoonicorn 1:7 scale vehicle. The foam bumper sits behind the front of the body and absorbs impact energy in a head-on collision, spreading the load across the chassis rather than concentrating it on the front suspension, steering components, and body mounts.
The splitter mounts at the leading edge beneath the nose of the body and helps manage airflow at the front of the car while also protecting the front end during contact with kerbs, walls, and other vehicles. Both parts are consumable items that compress, tear, and wear away over time, which is expected given their protective role.
These are direct replacements for the original SR7 components and install with the stock mounting hardware, requiring no modification. Fits the SR7 platform. Replacing a crushed or torn bumper restores the intended crash protection and keeps the body sitting correctly on the chassis. Refer to the SR7 manual for correct fitment.
