Description
Replacement shock shafts for the dampers fitted to the Team Associated SR7 Hoonicorn 1:7 scale vehicle. The shaft carries the piston through the shock body and passes through the lower seal assembly, so its surface finish and straightness determine how freely the damper strokes and how well it holds oil.
Shock shafts are exposed to dirt, debris, and impact damage. A nicked, scored, or bent shaft will wear through seals, leak oil, and bind in the body, which shows up as inconsistent damping and a car that no longer settles the same way corner after corner. Replacing the shaft during a rebuild is a routine part of maintaining predictable handling.
These are direct replacement parts that use the stock pistons, seals, shock ends, and retaining hardware from the original SR7 shocks, so no modification is needed. Fits the SR7 platform. Inspect shafts each time you rebuild the shocks and replace any that show scoring, and refer to the SR7 manual for assembly details.
