Description
These replacement shock bodies fit the dampers used on the Team Associated SR7 Hoonicorn 1:7 scale vehicle. The shock body houses the piston, shaft, and damping oil, and its internal bore finish directly affects how smoothly the piston travels and how consistently the damper controls chassis movement over bumps and through corners.
Shock bodies can be scratched, scored, or dented by rocks and track debris, and a damaged bore will allow oil to leak past the seals and cause erratic damping. Replacing the body restores a proper seal and returns the shock to consistent operation without having to purchase complete shock assemblies.
These are direct replacements for the original SR7 shock bodies and work with the stock caps, collars, pistons, shafts, and seals, so your existing internals and spring hardware transfer straight over. Fits the SR7 platform. Rebuild both shocks on an axle at the same time so damping stays matched side to side, and follow the SR7 manual for the correct oil fill and bleeding procedure.
