Description
The SR7 Outdrive Shaft, Dogbone, and Pinion Set brings together three drivetrain components for the Team Associated SR7. The outdrive shaft carries power out of the transmission and accepts the dogbone, the dogbone transmits that power to the wheel while allowing for suspension movement and steering angle, and the pinion drives the gear it meshes with in the drive train.
All three parts are direct replacements for the components supplied in the SR7 kit and install at their factory locations with the existing hardware, requiring no modification of the car.
Fits the Team Associated SR7 platform. These parts wear together as a group, since a dogbone with rounded ends accelerates wear in the outdrive it engages and a worn outdrive in turn chews up a new dogbone. Replacing them as a set rather than piecemeal restores tight, quiet drivetrain engagement and avoids the false economy of fitting one new part against worn mating surfaces.
