Description
The SR7 Rear Wheel Hex Set contains the drive hexes that transfer torque from the rear axles to the wheels on the Team Associated SR7. Each hex keys onto the axle and engages the matching hex recess in the wheel, so every bit of power the drivetrain delivers to the rear wheels passes through these small parts.
This set is a direct replacement for the rear wheel hexes supplied in the SR7 kit, fitting the standard axles and wheels with no modification required.
Fits the Team Associated SR7 platform. Wheel hexes are high-wear components because they carry full drive torque through a small contact area, and the corners of the hex round off over time. A rounded hex allows the wheel to move on the axle, which is felt as a clunk under power and eventually leads to the wheel no longer driving at all. Replacing worn hexes restores solid, positive drive to the rear wheels.
