Description
The SR7 Hinge Pin Set contains the pins that the suspension arms pivot on in the Team Associated SR7. Hinge pins pass through the arm mounts and the arms themselves, forming the pivot axis for the entire suspension, which makes their straightness and surface condition critical to how freely the suspension moves.
This set is a direct replacement for the hinge pins supplied in the SR7 kit, matching the original diameters and lengths so they drop into the existing mounts and arms without modification.
Fits the Team Associated SR7 platform. Hinge pins bend in impacts and develop grooves where they ride in the arms, and either condition causes the suspension to bind rather than move freely, which the car shows as harsh, unpredictable handling. Because a bent pin can be difficult to spot by eye once installed, replacing the full set during a rebuild is the reliable way to guarantee that every corner of the suspension moves as it should.
