Description
The SR7 Shock Tower and Rear Bearing Support Set combines the shock tower and the rear bearing support for the Team Associated SR7. The shock tower provides the upper mounting points for the shocks, and the position chosen on the tower sets shock angle and leverage over the suspension arms, making it a key part of how the car reacts to bumps and weight transfer. The rear bearing support locates and holds the rear drivetrain bearing in the chassis.
Both pieces are direct replacements for the components supplied in the SR7 kit and install at the factory locations with the existing hardware, requiring no modification.
Fits the Team Associated SR7 platform. Shock towers absorb impact energy in crashes and can crack around the mounting holes, while a worn bearing support allows the bearing to move and introduces drivetrain slop. Replacing both restores correct suspension geometry and proper drivetrain alignment at the rear of the car.
